Boutros AL MAARI, painter illustrator & writer

 

Born in Damascus (Syria) in 1968. Professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Damascus University, Syria (2008-2012) Degree in printmaking at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Damascus University, Syria (1991). Master in Social Anthropology (EHESS), Paris, France (1999). Doctorate in Social Anthropology (EHESS), Paris, France (2006). 1995-1997: Professor assistant at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Damascus University, Syria 1994-1997: illustrator in "Publi-Graphics", Damascus, Syria.

An auther, writer and catoonist in many arabic and international newspapers and publications.
